Asuka grew up and spent her early
adulthood in Saga prefecture, situated in the northwest of Kyushu island, Japan. Saga is home to the famous natural hot springs, beautiful pottery, fresh seafood, the mouth-watering Saga wagyu beef,
and many other agricultural products.
When she moved to London in 2005,
she decided to pursue the toughest sushi chef career at the esteemed establishements of NOBU London and Sushi Tetsu. Under the meticulous guidance of sushi masters, Asuka underwent
rigorous training and achieved mastery in the art of sushi.
In 2014, when she welcomed her
first child with her English husband, she yet again challenged herself to start a sushi delivery business, Zen Catering. This venture swiftly gained immense popularity among the discerning residents
of Surrey, who appreciated the unparalled quality of her sushi creations.
Zen Catering has been serving South East Surrey and South London foodie communities with the highest quality sushi and
sashimi platters since 2014. With the depth knowledge and expertise from working with the most prestigious Japanese restaurants as well as the Japanese fish supplier, Asuka carefully selects
ingredients and produces authentic Japanese food to satisfy her customers.
